#SayNoToXenophobia

This picture is in itself self-explanatory and it put a smile on my face. This is an old picture of South Africa's Zulu king and president Mugabe of Zimbabwe refusing to shake his hand (not xenophobia related).

Inasmuch as I would love to ignore the plight of many Africans in South Africa, unfortunately I can't. I can't live in my own bubble and ignore what is right under my nose. I can't because they are my brothers and sisters, cousins, aunties and uncles too whose lives are being ruined or taken away from them all because they are who they are. If South African leaders cannot curb the antics of some lazy South Africans who will use an ant as an excuse for their own miserable existence (excuse my French) I don't see why they should be respected and honoured. I have a lot of say on xenophobia but I'll just pause here and pray. Say No To Xenophobia. #thatsall
