I want to be the type of mum my children want to be around always. Let's go way past being a cool mum or a mum that they can show off to their friends. No. I don't just mean that type of mum. I mean the type of mum my children are proud of. Let every facet of my life be something they aspire to. I want to be that type of mum that when I'm ageing, I would love to know that my children love me still and even more. So despite their other priorities in life, I know and appreciate they would inevitably have, I'm put right into their plans and somewhere on top of the list. I don't want them to feel they have to hang around me out of obligation or a need to look after and care for their mother. I would love them to be around me just because....... Just because I am the definition of home and all it encapsulates. I am home and home is where they are most comfortable. I want to be the type of mum that is so priceless my children come to me seeking words of wisdom and encouragement. And at times where I am unavailable, that they will trust their natural instincts and be confident that I have taught them well. The type of mum they know they can always run to for support. The type of mum that they know will hold their hand through any and every challenge. I want them to love me for me and not just because I am their mum, but because I am all they ever need. One in a trillion, one of a kind, all in one. Extraordinary. That Type Of Mum.
