Below, you will find some basic notes I jotted down during a Sunday Service. Its all over the place, but you will follow.
In life as individuals, we are constantly living in a state of worry.
One can worry about everything, from worrying about tomorrow, to children, finances, jobs, to education etc.
God wants us to live a life free from worry. Luke 10:38-42 38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. 40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. 41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: 42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
Worrying magnifies negative scenarios.
Philippians 4:6-9
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh. Saturate your mind with God's word. Listen to it, so you can replace fear with faith. Getting rid of fear and putting faith in that place. Be careful with the things you allow into your spirit. When you are working in the realm of fear, faith cannot work. In an environment of fear, God's word cannot work. Your faith should remain solid, unshakeable, immovable. Speak words like, in the Name of Jesus, I refuse to worry, I refuse to fear. The peace of God harnesses my heart in Christ jesus. The word of God is working in my life. Repel fear and worry with the word of God. If worry attacks your mind, speak forth the word of God. Life is spiritual. Issues would not go away until you do something about it. The Bible says if a cloud be full of rain, it empties itself upon the earth. When your prayers and supplications are presented to God, you may not see your answers immediately but it doesn't mean God has not heard or answered you. Keep praying and praising, one day, just like the cloud that is full of rain empty itself upon the earth, so shall your prayers and blessings come forth. Don't give up. The Bible says, Let your light so shine that men will see your good works and give glory to your father in heaven.
Ephesians 6:10-20
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
I am the seed of Abraham. I will fulfil my all my days. I will live days of glory through Christ Jesus. Praise the Lord.
