Lets talk about babies people!!!!
My very good friend is 7 months pregnant as I write, so to say I am feeling broody is actually an understatement.
My third baby is 2 years old and just when I thought I only have two more years before all my children are in full time education, this feeling of having another baby completely overwhelms me (again). Do I like being pregnant/morning sickness? No. Do I enjoy the pains during pregnancy? No. Do I love labour? No (Its actually the worst kind of pain known to mankind). Do I enjoy the sleepless nights afterwards? No. Am I sounding silly right now? Yup!!!
But I love every thing else in between. I love knowing God has given me the opportunity to be part of raising the next generation of amazing people. When I am pregnant, my pregnancy is more than a baby bump. Its a symbol of a new life and all the goodness life can bring. The feeling of being pregnant goes beyond the butterflies in your tummy. Its an everlasting connection and bond with yourself and your baby. Its is an experience that is only available to a mother and her child. For mothers and fathers out there, we all know the hard work begins the moment our angels are born. We are responsible for that child for the rest of our lives, not until they turn 18, as society has made us believe. We don't stop being parents when the child that we nutured turns 18. The older they get, sometimes the more worries parents get because they are developing fast and their challenges inevitably change.
What I do love about having children (amongst many), is I look forward to every single day with them. There is a certain level of excitement and happiness that you get from your children that you cannot get from anywhere else. I love waking up to the pitter patter of little feet every morning. I love their smell. I love the fact that I am their world and they are mine too. I love that I love them unconditionally. That my decisions shape their destiny and their experiences. I love that as parents, we see world through their eyes only. Knowing that their lives will be full of amazing experiences and achievements. Although three kids is already challenging, I don't think I am quite ready to stop having children........ We'll see.

Over the next few months, I will be talking more about babies, children and mommyhood.
Best life experience EVER!!!!!!
Be Inspired!
