Good afternoon everyone!
Today's verse is taken from the book of 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV. It says
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

This is a scripture that most Christians are familiar with and I would like to briefly discuss it.
It says "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation". This to me speaks volumes. From this verse, I am made to believe that the very moment I was IN Christ Jesus, I am a new creation. In the eyes of God, I am like a new born baby. Free from sin, free from guilt. I am perfect in God's perfection. I am justified because Christ died on the cross for my sins. He loved me so much that he died irrespective of my flaws and shortcomings. The Bible teaches us that he died for us all. He died on the cross, so we will have eternal life. From the saints to the "worst" sinners, he died for everyone. Irrespective of our nationality, our ethnicity, our background, our gender, our age, our race. He did this because in the eyes of God, WE ARE ALL EQUAL. That's something special and amazing. To know the abundance of Christ's love. How he loved us beyond measure. Irrespective of who you think you are. When you are in Christ Jesus, you are a new creation. The latter part of that verse illustrates "Old things are passed away". All your sins have been washed away. You are no longer judged for your actions or omissions. Stop feeling guilty for whatever happened in the past. Stop making yourself feel less than what you actually are. You are now starting on a new clean slate. A new creation. This is your opportunity make a fresh start. You will need to let go of any emotional baggage. You will need to let go of any emotional or physical stress that is holding you back and holding you down. You need to release your mind to understand the grace God has made available to you.
So I want to use this platform to encourage someone, anyone. The same way I was encouraged this morning. It doesn't matter what has happened. You rest in the assurance that JESUS LOVES YOU. Only if you knew how much! Begin to see yourself the way God sees you. You will be amazed. No one has the right to judge you. Even Christ who died on the cross, does not judge you, He does not bully you or belittle you. Use more energy to worship God. Praise him. Adore him. For all He has done. For all He is doing and all He is yet to do. Praise him for who He is. Who He has made you be. That new creation you are now. Give thanks because you ARE what God says you ARE. You have what God says you have. And you can do what God says you can do.
Be Inspired
xoxo
