The good ol' days when everything was simple and less complicated and technology didn't take over our lives! I'm an old soul at heart and I love what I already know. It takes me a while to adapt and move with the times! This right here is my comfort zone. The good ol' days when you had to listen to the radio and record your favourite songs on to the cassette, pause when it came to an advert and then use the biro to rewind it if you had gone over or recorded a song you didn't intend to record! By doing this you left no gap in the tape. Remember? Remember pulling the tape out when it got tangled just so you can untangle it straighten it out so you don't lose that good music you recorded? Then you play the tape over and over again to listen to the lyrics of the song, practise it, write it down and memorise it so you can go and teach your best friends in school? Remember? Remember coming up with dance moves for every single song?
I remember when myself and my two best friends at the time Valerie and Derayo formed a girl group called VID4Ever. We took our inspiration from TLC - Crazy Sexy Cool. We wrote rap and RnB songs and bored the class with it! Shy but very brave! The cassette was very instrumental in our era. The good ol times!
To many young people, I'm talking jargon, but to those that grew up in the 90s, this is right up your street! Hopefully!
