True Talk Thursday - Priorities and Options

Yesterday I found myself giving advice to a young lady (I do that sometimes, I just exercise my God-given right to TALK and give unsolicited advice). Those that know me are used to me doing that. Sometimes they come to me because they know I keep it real, go straight to the point and just simply give them my own opinion. In a diplomatic way. Judgement free. I thought I could share those words with you here.

Listen carefully Girls!

* Don't make a boy/man your priority when he only sees you as an option. 

* Don't waste your time with someone that doesn't see you in his future. It's like going on a journey with no destination. 

* You should be a man's first and only. Don't settle for being the side chick. 

* Know your worth and value yourself. Understand that God values you. See yourself the way God sees you. You are a royal priesthood. 

* Don't give boys/men your most treasured and precious possession until they have proven themselves worthy of you and made you their wife. Life is a lot less complicated for us women when we live our lives and conduct our affairs the way God wants us to. 

Choose wisely. Pray on it. Let go and then let God. "

You are going to be just fine, young lady.
